The “Construction Act” has now begun the formal process of change. The Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (the “Act”) more commonly referred to as the “Construction Act” has served the construction industry well for over ten years.  Recourse to statutory adjudication and the Courts’ robust attitude to the enforcement of Adjudicators’ Decisions have meant that many of Sir Michael Latham’s Constructing the Team recommendations (aimed at improving cash-flow in the
supply chain) have been implemented successfully.
