In accordance with the Society's Constitution, 2 candidates have been nominated for the position of Chair of the Executive Committee. Accordingly an election is taking place.
The ballot opens on 14 August and closes on 4 September. Members will receive an email from ElectionBuddy inviting them to vote. The candidates and their respective election statements are below.
The results from the ballot will be posted on the website on 11 September.

I have been a member of the AS since 2003, a committee member (2021-2024) and served as Junior Vice and Senior Vice Chair more recently leading Project One and the Practical Workshop Series amongst other things.

I have a proven record: 2021-2023 served as conference organiser arranging London and Edinburgh conferences all 'sold out'; In April 2024 with Hamish Lal and Amy Bonyczyk organised the inaugural biannual dinner at Pewterers Hall. In 2024 the Society's LinkedIn and X pages more than doubled connections whilst I managed the accounts. As a CIArb Trustee & SCL Council Member – know how to get things done for the benefit of all Members.
